Wow, $22,000 seems very cheap considering this education is in the US! I have considered studying abroad seeing as I can save nearly $7,000 which would be a welcoming savings! I do wonder why it is so much cheaper to study in the UK for virtually the same courses and education. Are these prices a reflection of total cost or just for the educational courses and degrees themselves? Does anyone know?
Hi Ken, The US is really an anomaly. Other countries are able to provide MBAs and other degrees much cheaper. Why US education is so expensive is hard to justify. Maybe students are willing to pay extra in the hope of getting a better quality education. Another factor is that the programs tend to be a bit longer.
Hi, what is your opinion about Amity Online?
Great to see some affordable options. But I wonder what the catch is with very cheap programs, such as the one from Switzerland. There must be some truth to the adage that you get what you pay for.
Hi Rachit – Affordable MBA programs can still be very well run. Universities are able to invest in the technology, course content, etc when they get large student numbers.
A couple of areas where you might find a significant trade-off are with individual support and electives. A cheap MBA may be right for you if you are an independent learner and are happy to go with a fairly general program.
